I’m Lara Cross and I’ve been managing rental properties on Airbnb and other short-term rental platforms for over 10 years.

Short term rentals have been growing at an extraordinary rate over the past few years with Airbnb now hosting over 6 million listings worldwide for 4 million hosts.

I started out listing my primary residence while I was away on holiday, to help pay for trips and to make some extra money. As my children have grown up and left home, I’ve been able to provide more availability on my calendar and I now regularly host guests from all over the world. I have learnt a lot along the way and as the landscape of hosting changes, I continue to learn and adapt.

I started Heaver House to help people do what I’ve done, but without all the hassle and all the mistakes!
